Guest Reviews & Ratings
The hotel had small but clean and comfortable rooms, although only one towel was provided, and there was a smell of smoke. The location was great for families at the edge of the French Quarter without the noise, but some areas were dusty. The dining options were very poor with limited choices. The staff were not very helpful and seemed to avoid responsibility, yet the price and location were decent.
The hotel was a mixed bag; our room, although not as expected, was clean and well-maintained but lacked basic amenities like coffee and towels. The service varied from a nasty attitude at check-in to being accommodating and going the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and sleeping at 4:00am. The location was convenient for exploring the city on foot, away from the hustle of the French Quarter but close to attractions. The dining options were limited, but the Hungarian beef stew was a surprising hit. However, the facilities were lacking some key essentials.
